Midi Controller What is the best MIDI controller for someone?
make beats with Fruity Loops. I hate how you can not be really hands on with fruity loops b / ci want that feeling of typing on a drum pad. I dont have a lot of money I am fruity loops. MIDI Keyboard input are too cool.
The Korg padKONTROL ideal for drums work http://www.korg.com/gear/info.asp?a_prod_no=KPC1 Some keyboards include pads as the series Novation SL (I have one, but I never use pads because they are not that great, but the keyboard is great), or the AKAI MPK-49. I suggest you try some keyboards in a music store regularly and see what you like / need. It is better to try these things yourself.
What studio monitors connected to your computer? Need any type of art?
I am thinking of buying KRK RP-8 Rokit Powered 8 Reference Studio Monitor and wondered if he needed additional equipment to connect to my iMac. I hear you need an Audio Interface or something. The monitors that used to own were simply driven by a power supply. The signal out of your computer audio output. No special art is needed.
Pro Tools How can I add change temp click the tempo in Pro Tools?
I need to add a change of tempo to the click in Pro Tools. How do I do that?
What version of Pro tools do you use? The function is the same, but the location and menus have change 6 times since Pro Tools 5.0, I will assume that you have at least Pro Tools 7.3. If so: 1. Jump to Event "menu at the top of your screen. 2. Select Tempo -> Operations window (shortcut: Option 2 on a Mac) 3. In your edit window to select the zone change of tempo (GRID mode) 4. Type the new tempo and check the box at the bottom left that says "keep the tempo after the selection" if you want to return to the original tempo after the selection ... if not, do not check this box. 5. "Apply" 6. This will change the simplest tempo. You click and your grid will change as well as all other programs slaves. For a change of tempo advance (S-curve, scale, etc.) just open drop-down menu on the window for changing the tempo. * Please be aware that to make a tempo change you "director" should be activated (blue). I want to start making beats and I was wondering if I needed a audio interface for connecting studio monitors or I could branch only those directly in the computer?
