- Buy a laptop. Buy a laptop that is portable.
- Buy a usb microphone. USB Microphones are good for portable recording
- Get some headphones. Studio headphones are the best.
- Get a DAW or Digital Audio Workstation.
- Make sure that any software or drivers are installed on your computer
- Set up everything and you are good to go!
Warnings
- If you are recording in a car, be careful with your equipment. There is a high chance that stuff will fall down or get knocked over on sharp turns.
- Make sure where ever you are recording, is soundproof. If not, make a Porta-booth created by Harlan Hogan.
