Guitar amplifier should I get?
Hi guys, so I'm thinking of buying a new amplifier in the coming weeks, as I'm getting rid my Fender Princeton, it's just not my type of amplifier ^ ^. I'm basically after a tube amp, preferably, as a guitar with active pickups, and you want a truly authentic sound. I have about NZ $ 1100, which is about $ 800 U.S. to spend. I want a combo, as i dont think ill get any batteries or anything halfway decent for the money. Oh, and I play a fall of profit in its most high-tuned metal, so we really need something with some clarity of Nice. I've been looking at the Peavey ValveKing 212, and also valves MK2 Combo Line 6. I will want to record with this amp, and do some gigging a (mic'd of course). Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance =)
