Pro Tools How can I add change temp click the tempo in Pro Tools?
I need to add a change of tempo to the click in Pro Tools. How do I do that?
What version of Pro tools do you use? The function is the same, but the location and menus have change 6 times since Pro Tools 5.0, I will assume that you have at least Pro Tools 7.3. If so: 1. Jump to Event "menu at the top of your screen. 2. Select Tempo -> Operations window (shortcut: Option 2 on a Mac) 3. In your edit window to select the zone change of tempo (GRID mode) 4. Type the new tempo and check the box at the bottom left that says "keep the tempo after the selection" if you want to return to the original tempo after the selection ... if not, do not check this box. 5. "Apply" 6. This will change the simplest tempo. You click and your grid will change as well as all other programs slaves. For a change of tempo advance (S-curve, scale, etc.) just open drop-down menu on the window for changing the tempo. * Please be aware that to make a tempo change you "director" should be activated (blue).
